Alexandra is the Founder and Managing Director of Linkilaw. She has over a decade of experience in commercial law, asset recovery, regulatory law and alternative dispute resolution. At Linkilaw, Alexandra leads the team in the execution of its high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional cases, where her role is to devise and manage the execution of legal strategies.

Alexandra’s leadership has earned widespread recognition. She was named One to Watch in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders Awards 2024, in partnership with The Times. In 2018, Forbes included her in its 30 Under 30 list. She also received the Woman of the Year in Legal Tech award.

Under her direction, Linkilaw ranked among the UK’s 100 fastest-growing companies. Her insights have appeared in top-tier publications, including Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Apple News, and The Huffington Post.

Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Laws from SOAS, University of London (UK) and is an accredited Mediator with the London School of Mediation. Her working languages are English, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and basic German.

 

Alexandra provided strategic advice in the following matters:

  • a high-net-worth individual in a multi-jurisdictional matter, involving regulatory work with assets exceeding £200m in value, and where Linkilaw project-managed the unfreezing of specific assets exceeding £100m in value
  • a high-net-worth individual in highly-complex proceedings involving a successful challenge of an extradition request by the USA on the basis that the request was politically motivated
  • a high-net-worth individual in respect of various proceedings (substantive proceedings and interim relief), including in Cyprus and Switzerland, connected to alleged fraud and conspiracy claims involving a failed bank in an Eastern European state
  • a high-net-worth individual and their organisation in a successful petition under the European Convention of Human Rights against a member state for breaches of Article 3 of the Convention, that an arrest and subsequent detention pending investigation and trial was contrary to Article 5 of the Convention, and that the criminal proceedings against the individual were politically motivated, contrary to Article 18 of the Convention
  • a high-net-worth individual in respect of a permission to appeal a High Court judgment involving a multi-jurisdictional contentious probate matter with an amount in dispute circa £200m
  • a UK company and its shareholders in a high value M&A deal in the Food and Beverage industry exceeding £25m in value
  • a high-net-worth individual and their organisation in the due diligence management of a complex M&A purchase in the sports industry exceeding £100m in value
  • a high-net-worth individual in a high-profile divorce matter relating to jurisdiction, children and finances, involving matrimonial and non-matrimonial assets exceeding £300m in value

Jasmine is a qualified solicitor, a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and a member of the Regulatory Committee of the Liverpool Law Society. Her career has spanned civil litigation, legal costs, and compliance leadership, providing her with a broad understanding of law firm operations and the regulatory challenges faced by modern legal practices.

Having served as a Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) at multiple firms, Jasmine brings extensive hands-on experience of legal and regulatory compliance. She understands the realities of balancing regulatory responsibilities with commercial objectives, supporting fee earners, managing risk, and ensuring firms meet their obligations under the rules of the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Jasmine combines technical regulatory expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach. Her experience advising law firms on governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational best practice enables her to provide clear, proportionate guidance that supports both compliance and growth.

Alastair Dobbie has more than a decade of litigation experience. He has made a name for himself advising international private investors and privately owned companies on complex commercial, financial, regulatory and property disputes.

His expertise includes investment fraud, freezing orders, insolvency and restructuring, corporate disputes and urgent interim and injunctive proceedings. He has acted for claimants and defendants in high-value, multi-party matters. His work representing hundreds of investors affected by some of the UK’s largest property Ponzi schemes and FCA or SFO-investigated frauds has helped to recover or protect tens of millions of Pounds in value and set a Court precedent for the resolution of the £1 billion problem of toxic freeholds which are left by unregulated collective investment schemes.

In employment law, he has successfully achieved a finding of protected belief in Covid-litigation and set a precedent on appeal for the legal industry itself on SRA Accounts Rules as to client billing. In family law, he can engage in partnership with a family team where financial remedy proceedings involve serious company, commercial or property-related disputes.

Throughout his career, Alastair has been recognised for combining robust litigation advice with pragmatic commercial negotiation, particularly in complex, long-running disputes requiring solutions beyond court proceedings alone.

Alastair is qualified as a solicitor and is also a non-practising barrister. He maintains a presence in both the UK and the European Union and speaks several European languages to varying levels of proficiency. As a prize-winning mathematician, he is able to deal with complex financial structures for clients.

Alexandra Yeghikyan is a Solicitor at Linkilaw. Her expertise covers several areas of law, notably dispute resolution, private client and corporate work, while also providing support with CIS clients in the UK and abroad. Her client-oriented approach and effective communication are valued by clients and peers.

Alexandra obtained a first-class honours degree in law, before commencing her Master of Laws and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London (UK). Alexandra has previously studied ‘Religion, Philosophy and Ethics’ at King’s College London (UK).

In addition to English, Alexandra is fluent in Russian and has a basic knowledge of Armenian and French.

Anthony Fisher is a barrister, who leverages his experience to provide Linkilaw with strategic and communications advice in respect of high-net worth individuals as well as corporate entities affected by adverse publicity or wishing to establish and deploy a media strategy.

Anthony provides strategic and communications advice to institutional and private clients. Anthony also has experience in advising on structuring corporate acquisitions in Eastern Europe and the CIS.

Alexandra Lindsay-Black is a Senior Paralegal at Linkilaw, bringing a unique perspective to her legal work from a combined Finance and Family Law background.

She was an early hire at high-growth Australian fintech, and subsequently worked for a leading London divorce firm, where she specialised in financial remedies and forensic work, assisting on multi-billion-pound corporate valuations, and with asset tracing, financial modelling, and providing support to the firm’s tax consultant.

Alexandra read English Language and Literature at Hertford College, the University of Oxford, where she was also a choral scholar, prior to attaining Distinction in the Law Conversion MA at the University of Law, Bloomsbury. She is both English and Australian.

Maria brings an international legal background, with early exposure to white-collar crime and fraud-related matters through legal internships. She holds an LL.M. with Merit from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law with honours from MGIMO.

Having first joined Linkilaw as a Legal Intern, Maria was invited to continue with the firm following the successful completion of her internship. Alongside her work, she remains engaged in academic research on the application of game theory in law, and is fluent in Russian, English and French.

Pars brings experience across international arbitration and commercial dispute resolution, having gained experience at leading UK law firms. He holds an LL.M. with Merit from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor of Law with honours from The University of Law.

Before joining Linkilaw, Pars completed a legal placement with the Energy and Natural Resources team at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in London, where he assisted on an investment arbitration matter involving the defence of a sovereign state.

He is fluent in English, Turkish, and Azerbaijani. Pars is a member of The Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) and the London Young Lawyers Group (LYLG).

As the Team Wellbeing and Human Resources Manager at Linkilaw, Esen concentrates on cultivating a team-centric culture and advancing the conscious business model Linkilaw is built upon.

Esen holds an accredited qualification as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, USA, the institution where the trademarked programme originated from. Kim is a specialist employment law consultant solicitor based in Devon.  She qualified as a solicitor in January 2002, and has practiced employment law since then, both at large regional law firms and as a consultant since 2012 for various firms spread across the UK.

Kim can deal with all aspects of employment law disputes, both for businesses and individuals, including advising on disciplinary, capability (including sickness absence) and dismissal procedures; reorganisations and redundancies; policies and procedures; drafting contracts of employment; service agreements and consultancy agreements; TUPE and settlement agreements.
